So I gave it a try with their “Kickstart Program” and it was just what I needed to feel comfortable with the different lifts and workouts that the CrossFit world has to offer! Coach D and her team are highly knowledgeable and wonderful at what they do. And they can always modify a workout for someone new. The coaches and gym buddies at Chakafit are amazing! “I love everything about Chaka CrossFit. Coach Deanne has created a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone is valued, no matter their fitness level. I hadn’t exercised in nearly twenty years before joining, but not once did I feel judged or guilty. Every coach met me exactly where I was physically, adjusting workouts when needed- changing the weight, the reps, or even the entire exercise- so I could move safely and still get a great workout.
